The bar did not really suit evening meals. i also thought a lounge area would be nice. i found the noise levels quite high. I could hear guests upstairs, which disturbed my sleep

the check-in at reception was quick and efficient, i was then shown to my room.
The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. It was immediately noticeable. the decor was also quite dated and tired. the window latch was broken. It would not close properly.

I liked that the staff was friendly and helpful. the comfortable beds were great. it was good we did not have to pay for breakfast. This allowed us to eat our own food as we wanted something simple. the location was great for my visit purposes.
